The A38 has now reopened and the A4 will resume normal route. 
Apologies for any earlier inconvenience caused. 

Due to an obstruction on the A38 near Barrow Gurney, the road is currently blocked and closed in both directions. 

The A4 service will divert via Congresbury which will add at least 30 minutes to the journey time both to and from the airport. 

In addition to this road closure, we are still experiencing delays due to the 4 way traffic lights at The Globe. 

Please ensure you leave plenty of time to reach your end destination.

Please be advised that out A4 Air Decker bus service does not serve the Broad Quay bus stop in Bath. The nearest alternative bus stop is Ambury, located just a 2-minute walk away. 

Due to utility works being conducted at Corston, close to The Globe roundabout, 4-way traffic signals will be in operation. Whilst work is being carried out during the school holidays, due to the location of these works, long delays are anticipated. 

Please ensure when travelling to the airport, you allow enough time to reach your end destination. We will experience delays during this period.
